A+ Certification – 1 of 2 Complete

October 11th, 2006

Yahoo!  Hallelujah!  1 down and 1 more to go and I become CompTia A+ Certified.  I passed the Hardware portion of the exam today (took it at Richland College) and am scheduled to take the OS portion on Friday.

They asked some questions that I really did not expect to see as I didn’t realise they had some customer service questions in the mix.  Well, it doesn’t matter I passed and I’m happy.  ^_^

Exam Week

October 10th, 2006

Whew!  2 down and 2 more to go.  Today I had my 2nd exam in Music Fundamentals and my 1st exam in Audio Engineering 1.  I thank God that both went well.  Tomorrow it’s off for the CompTIA A+ Core Hardware and on Friday it’s in for the OS portion of that exam.  I’d say the CompTIA ones are definitely more stressful as each test costs $158 with a single chance to pass it.

So, what’s next after A+?  Net+ or MCP?  Choices, choices, choices…

Online Speech Classes – A Negative

October 10th, 2006

Yay!  I’ve completed all my homework for the Speech 1301 class…or did I?  Nope, I didn’t!  I have to still finish this one project with my online assigned partner to create a dialogue.  Ughhh….this is not cool at all as I’ll have to wait on someone I don’t know and my grade is in the mercy of their hands.

This makes it really hard to communicate as I only have their email.  Creating a dialogue via email is just plain hard!

What they really should do is have the online class meet online at a certain given time and have group discussions and assignments done then.  Granted this is more flexable, but planning ahead like this just is not convenient at all.  I certainly hope they contact me soon so we can get this project out of the way.

This is the site of the once assimulated “CokoBorg” (http://www.xanga.com/CokoBorg).  I’ve had enough with Xanga as I wanted more control over my posts as well as a method of backing things up should I want to.  No more banner ads!  YAY!!!!!!

I’ll be posting much more frequently (well anything probably is more frequent than what I did with my Xanga).
